Each student is required to set up a teacher blog using blogspot. You will be able to share information with each other on children and young adult literature. Some suggestions for sharing might be: lesson plans, awards, controversial books, book talks, book trailers, or any topic on literature as they are related to this course. Add widgets which promote reading, book reviews, literacy program. Observe that I have included widgets such as shelfari, my library thing, New York book reviews, and reading rockets. Reading each others blogs and posting comments will be a part of your participation grade in this class. Weekly you will be required to read other student's blogs and to comment. Add your fellow students and professor's library media blog as followers so they can comment on your postings.
